RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER
The rules and or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events. All participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from publication of or compliance with these rules and/or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official. 


                                                                                                             GENERAL RULES
This general rule section applies to each and every person as well as track personnel. You are expected to know the rules. 1. We expect courteous conduct from all participants at all times. Every participant is expected to conduct themselves in a manner which will promote a positive image for the track and motorsports as a whole. Profanity, obscene, or improper behavior in front of race fans, officials, or management will NOT be tolerated. 2. If at any time your dress, actions, or conduct are not in the best interest of the track, its fans, competitors, or the sport of auto racing, you must leave the grounds and suspension or disbarment may result. 3. The track is private property, through your admission ticket you have been given authority and the right to be on this property in conjunction with the racing activities. However, the management of the track reserves the right to revoke and cancel this right at any time it is determined that your presence or conduct is detrimental to the track, the sport of auto racing, your fellow competitors, the fans or the management of the track. 4. Drivers are responsible for their crews, family members, and anyone known to be associated in any way with their car. 5. Any person entering pit area must sign a release and purchase a pit pass before entering the pits. Releases must be signed by the individual entering the pit area, except for minors, who must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. All persons in the pit area must have their pit pass in their possession and visible at all times. Pit passes must be worn on the purchaser’s arm or belt loop. NO EXCEPTIONS! 6. Any person who encourages or takes part in adverse demonstrations or fighting on the track or surrounding premises before, during, or after a racing event shall be subject to arrest, fine, immediate suspension and/or loss of prize money and all championship points that have been earned. Track insurance EXCLUDES bodily injury or property damage as a result of fighting. Minimum fine is $100.00. This also applies to any person going to another person’s pit area using profanity, obscene gestures, provoking and/or starting a fight. 7. Any person who shall commit assault or threaten to do bodily harm to any speedway official or any other person under their orders, shall be barred from competition at the track and/or subject to prosecution. 8. Any unsportsmanlike conduct at the raceway will not be tolerated and disciplinary action will be taken: up to and including permanent suspension and arrest of all parties involved. 9. The drinking of alcoholic beverages or use of controlled substances by drivers will not be allowed. In the event a violation involving a controlled substance is discovered, the proper legal authorities will be notified. 10. The display or use of any type of weapon at any time will result in the suspension of all parties involved and the arrest of all parties involved. 11. Any disagreement over technical questions or decisions will be resolved by the officials and management of the track. When their decision is rendered it is final and binding and no further discussion will take place. 12. Management and officials will determine all finishing positions and their decision is final. 13. It is suggested that someone of your pit crew stay with your car at all times while it is in the pit area. 14. All track rules will be interpreted as track management interprets them. In addition, track management reserves the right to tech any car or any part of a car at any time. 15. No car or any motorized vehicle is allowed on the track after the last feature race without track management’s permission. The car driver and/or owner of any car or motorized vehicle allowed on the track that wrecks or quits is responsible for getting their vehicle off the track. 16. Track premises shall be vacated within 1 hour after the last feature race. NO EXCEPTIONS! GENERAL RULES (All Divisions) 1. Firesuits are recommended in all divisions. Note: It is also recommended that all drivers wear fire retardant shoes, gloves, and underwear. 2. Helmets are required in all divisions and must be worn at all times car is on the track. Helmet must have face and eye protection. (This means shield or goggles.) Neck braces are also recommended. 3. Racing type seats are required and must be securely fastened. Shoulder harness is mandatory. A quick release harness no less than 3” wide is mandatory. This harness must be mounted in at least 5 points below the driver’s shoulders. Both ends must be fastened to roll cage with quality bolts no less than 3/8” in diameter. Belts shall come from behind driver. 4. Fire extinguishers are mandatory. Minimum of 2 lbs. fire extinguisher must be securely mounted within reach of the driver. Extinguisher must have a pressure gauge. 5. Kill switch is required within easy reach of the driver. 6. Tow hooks, front and rear, are required. 7. Electric fuel pumps are prohibited. There will be some exceptions where mechanical fuel pump cannot be used. Any electric fuel pump must be wired through an oil pressure switch located on the engine block for easy inspection by track officials. 8. Car numbers and letters must be at least 12 inches high and neatly painted on both sides of the car, on the door only. A number and letters 36 inches high are required to be painted on the roof reading from the passenger’s side. A number and letters at least 6 inches high are required to be painted on the right front and right rear of each car where they can be clearly viewed by track officials and other competitors. Numbers and letters must sharply contrast with the car’s paint scheme so that the numbers are easily read. 9. All cars must retain a clean, neat, professional appearance. The management of Greenville Speedway reserves the right to refuse participation of any car which does not appear in this manner. 10. No nitrous oxide allowed. Gasoline shall not be blended with alcohols, ethers, or other oxygenates and shall not be blended with an aniline or its derivatives, nitro compounds or other nitrogen compounds. 11. Fuel cells are mandatory for all classes and must be securely fastened with a minimum of 2” wide steel straps (minimum 1/16”) thick. 12. All cars must start under their own power. No direct drives allowed. All cars must have a working reverse gear. 13. Any car endangering race conditions on the track (dragging loose parts, leaking fluids, smoking, or deliberate rough driving, etc.) will be black flagged for that race. 14. All cars and any part of a car are subject to inspection by track officials at any time. 15. No equipment shall be considered as having been approved by reason of having passed through inspection unobserved. 16. Toe hooks or chains are mandatory for the front and rear of all cars for ease in towing. 17. Drive shaft loops are mandatory for all classes. Suggested 2” X 1/4” thickness minimum. Drive shafts must be painted white or florescent orange. 18. Any attached weights must be securely bolted to frame, and must be painted white or florescent orange and have car number clearly painted on them. Due to the high risk factor involved, any car that loses a lead weight during any event will be disqualified for that race and may be banned from the track for the season and/or fined. Two attaching mounts are recommended. No weights may be attached to rear bumper. No lead pellets – no liquid weights. 19. All glass, mirrors, chrome, and flammable material must be removed from all cars. 20. All sheet metal must be securely fastened. Hoods must be kept in place at all times. 21. All cars must have working brakes. 22. All cars must have a firewall with no holes between the motor, the fuel tank, and the driver’s compartment. Fuel lines routed through the driver’s compartment must be encased in steel pipe. 23. If the battery is located in the driver’s compartment, it shall be in a box and securely fastened. 24. Rollbar padding is recommended for all classes. Window nets are recommended for all classes. 25. Safety regulations will be enforced at all times. 26. All drivers must have name, address, and social security number on file prior to be paid. 27. Driver may change cars at any time between qualifying/heats/B Main and the start of the Main Event. However, any change will result in the driver starting on the rear of his heat/B Main or Main Event. It is the driver’s responsibility to notify the track officials of any desired change before the race. Car will be disqualified if track officials are not notified. 28. With the purchase of a pit pass, each competitor or spectator agrees to all the terms and conditions set forth in this rulebook. RACE PROCEDURE (All Divisions) Flags GREEN - Begin racing RED - Stop YELLOW - Caution BLACK - Go to your pit BLUE & YELLOW - Faster cars approaching, hold your line to allow faster cars to pass. WHITE - 1 lap remaining CHECKERED - Race is over Please know and understand the use of the flags. 1. All cars must be signed in by six thirty (6:45 P.M.) for weekly events. Cars not signed in by 6:45 P.M. will waive their right to draw or qualify for starting positions. This means that these cars will start from the rear. 2. Distribution of championship points prize money among car classes will be determined by track management at the end of the racing season. Points will be awarded to the driver in each class. Driver may change cars at any time between qualifying/heats/B Main and the start of the Main Event. However, any change will result in the driver starting on the rear of his heat/B Main or Main Event. It is the driver’s responsibility to notify the track officials of any desired change before the race. Car will be disqualified if track officials are not notified. 3. All cars must help pack the track. Any car not helping pack the track will not be allowed to hot lap. Track reserves the right to make exceptions. 4. It will be the driver’s responsibility to be lined up prior to the start of the race. If the car is not at the staging area before the cars enter the track, it will start at the rear of the line up. Line ups will be posted. 5. The track reserves the right to draw for starting positions in lieu of qualifying. 6. Track reserves the right to have inverted starts. 7. At the end of each feature race, the top three (3) cars must come directly to the tech area and/or scales. Failure to do this will result in disqualification and loss of prize money and points for that race. 8. From staging area, race will start after one (1) complete lap around the track. Late models will be allowed two (2) laps around track before races will start. 9. All starts will be running starts, two cars abreast. If the race is stopped for any reason after the first completed green flag lap, the cars will be restarted in a single file in the same position they were prior to the waiving of the yellow flag. Track reserves the right to call for double file restarts with 2 abreast behind leader. Car must stay in the same position until the green flag is dropped. The flagman reserves the right to stop a race at any time. All restarts will be from the cone on the front straightaway. You CANNOT pass a car until you have reached the cone. 10. Any driver stopping before the completion of the first lap to intentionally bring out the caution will be put to the rear. Track officials’ discretion will be utilized. 11. Races will start by the green light. If either car on the front row fires before the green light is displayed, they will be moved back one row. 12. No racing back to yellow. When the yellow flag comes out, all cars, except those involved in the accident/incident, will line up in order of the last completed green flag lap. 13. Any car that causes the yellow flag to be displayed must restart in the rear. 14. After three (3) cautions on any one car, car must go to the pits. 15. Infield spinouts will not stop the race unless caused by another car. Cars spun out in the infield must wait for a clear opening to reenter race. Any car attempting to stop race by coming back onto the track from the infield will be disqualified. 16. Once the lead car takes the white flag, the race will not be stopped for any reason until the checkered flag is displayed. Flagman may throw caution with white. 17. No work may be done on race cars on the track. No one except track officials allowed on the track or in staging area. Any person that goes onto track or enters the staging area during a racing event will be removed from track premises and will result in disqualification of their car OR car they are known in any way to be associated with. 18. Refusing to obey track officials will result in disqualification and/or suspension. 19. No courtesy laps will be given. After one lap has been completed under the green flag, any car that leaves the track will not be allowed to return to the track. However, if no laps have been completed, any car that leaves the track will be allowed to return to the track and must start from the rear, provided that the cars on the track have not been given the green to start. 20. Any car determined to have violated the spirit of the rules will be disqualified. 21. Any car determined to be illegal will result in being disqualified for that race and loss of prize money and points for that race. 23. All drivers and owners should collect their winnings within one (1) hour of the last feature race except classes under protest. 24. Owners and drivers are to keep up with their winnings, expenses, and anything else pertaining to taxes. 25. The track management reserves the right to reduce the payout in any class. 26. Track management reserves the right to update, modify, add, or delete rules at any time without prior notification. Any rule not covered in this book will be decided by the technical inspector. Technical inspector’s decision will be final. PROTEST 1. No equipment will be considered approved by reason of having passed through inspection unobserved. 2. If at any time there is a doubt about a part being legal for competition, YOU must prove to officials the protested part is legal. 3. Technical protests will be made after the feature event only. Only a participant in the said race may file a technical protest. All protests must be filed immediately after the event finish. Protest must be filed in the infield and required cash for protest presented before car leaves and goes to the Pit Area. Once car leaves perimeter of the track, they are ineligible to file protest. Protest must be made in writing with SPECIFIC protest issues described accompanied by a cash protest fee. 4. Failure or refusal to tear down will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all prize money, awards and points for that event. 5. Only the cars finishing on the lead lap and in the top 5 (five) are allowed to protest. No spite protests. Drivers may only protest cars that finish in FRONT of them. However, any car being protested reserves the right to protest the car making the protest. Track officials must be notified immediately. Driver will be given 15 minutes to deliver written protest with cash to a track official or the protest will be void and considered an attempted protest. 6. Drivers are allowed 2 (two) attempted and/or executed technical protest per year, no more than 1 (one) per event. 7. Each separate technical protest must be accompanied by a $300 cash protest fee for the top of the engine (heads, intake, bore & stroke, etc.) and/or a $300 cash protest fee for the bottom of engine (rods, crankshaft, etc.). $600 cash protest fee for a complete tear down. To P & G (check cubic inches), protest fee is $100. All technical protests for any other items of the car must be made in writing with SPECIFIC protest issues described accompanied with a $300 cash protest fee. All technical protests accompanied by a $300 cash protest fee will be disbursed with $250 to the protest winner, and $50 to the track. All technical protests accompanied by a $600 cash protest fee will be disbursed with $500 to the protest winner and $100 to the track. Track’s retainage of the protest fee will go to the track, regardless of protest outcome. 8. Only the person making the protest, track officials, and one person representing the protested car and their mechanic will be allowed at the tear down site. NO EXCEPTIONS! Owner or driver of car being protested is responsible for tear down of their car. Track officials’ decision will be final on all protest items and no further discussion will take place. 9. Track officials reserve the right to accept or not accept protests at their discretion. 10. The purse for the class being protested will be held until protest decision is made by track officials. 11. The track reserves the right to tech, spot check, or examine any car or cars or any part of a car at any time. 12. Any item found to be illegal will result in the car being disqualified for that race night and loss of prize money and points for that race. The management and staff of Greenville SPEEDWAY wishes to thank each participant for their support in our effort to keep dirt track racing a competitive, fun, and safe sport for all. 



                                                                                                                       LATE MODEL

•ENGINE AND WEIGHT OPTIONS: •Open Motor: 2300 lbs. •SAS/MSCCS LEGAL Spec Motor: 2200 lbs. •SUPR/MSCCS LEGAL Spec Motor: 2200 lbs. •ALL steel motor: 2200 lbs.

•WEIGHT: With driver anytime. No weight adjustment devices allowed inside car. •FUEL SYSTEM: One four-barrel carburetor. Gas or Alcohol •WHEELBASE: 104-inch minimum. Measured from center of hub to center of hub. •ENGINE SETBACK: Six (6) inches from center of ball joint to most forward spark plug, for all cars. •REAR END: Any type permitted.

•TRANSMISSION: All Transmissions must have forward and reverse gears. No straight drives.

•TIRES:  Any brand. Tires must durometer a minimum of 40 when checked. All Markings must be visible.

•SPOILERS: 8-inch rear spoilers on all cars. Spec Motor and Big 10 Motor exception (SAS template): 12-inches of material tall spoiler. Three spoiler support blades are allowed. Spec spoiler blade dimensions are 18 inches maximum in length, 12 inches maximum height, and must taper down to a maximum of 6 inches. No adjustable rear spoilers.

NATIONAL AND WEEKLY GENERAL RULES:
1.      THE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN DOES NOT EXPRESS OR IMPLIES WARRANTY OF SAFETY, FROM PUBLICATION OF, OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. THEY ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDELINE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES, AND ARE IN NO WAY A GUARANTEE AGAINST INJURY TO PARTICIPANTS.
2.      THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS WILL APPLY TO ALL CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES SANCTIONED EVENTS.
3.      CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES OFFICIALS SHALL HAVE FULL AUTHORITY OVER SAID SANCTIONED EVENTS, AND IN THE EVENT OF ANY DISPUTE, THE HEAD OFFICIAL’S DECISION WILL BE FINAL.
4.      ALL ARE SUBJECT TO BE INSPECTED BY THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES TECHNICAL INSPECTORS AT ANY TIME DURING THE EVENT.
5.      THE SERIES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONFISCATE ANY SUSPICIOUS, OR DEEMED ILLEGAL, COMPONENTS.
6.      THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER OR AMEND THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF FAIR COMPETITION.
7.      THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES HAVE BEEN SANCTIONED AND APPROVED BY THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES, P.O. BOX 1346, CARTERSVILLE, GA 30120, AND AVAILABLE ONLINE AT WWW.NeSMITHRACING.COM.

NATIONAL AND WEEKLY MEMBERSHIP AND ENTRY FEES:
1.      TO BE ELIGIBLE TO EARN CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES NATIONAL POINTS AND OR WEEKLY RACING SERIES POINTS, POINT FUND MONIES, AND SERIES CONTINGENCY AWARDS, A DRIVER MUST PAY AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $100.

NATIONAL AND WEEKLY SPONSOR DECALS – DECAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.      ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST DISPLAY REQUIRED DECALS AS PRESCRIBED BY THE SERIES TO BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.
2.      CONTINGENCY SPONSORS: TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONTINGENCY SPONSORSHIPS PARTICIPANT MUST FOLLOW THE REQUIREMENTS OF EACH COMPANY I.E. DECALS, PATCHES, PRODUCT, ETC. THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.

RACEceivers:
1.      EACH CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES PARTICIPANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE A RACECEIVER ONE WAY RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE (AVAILABLE FROM THE SERIES) TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATION FROM THE CRATE RACIN’ USA DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES RACE DIRECTOR DURING ALL EVENTS. EVENTS INCLUDE THE HOT LAPS, TIME TRIALS, HEAT RACES, CONSI FEATURES AND THE A-MAIN EVENT. GENERALLY, THE DRIVER SHOULD HAVE HIS RACECEIVER INSTALLED AND TUNED IN TO THE DESIGNATED FREQUENCY WITH THE VOLUME TURNED UP TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATIONS AT ANY TIME THEY HAVE THEIR HELMET ON AND ARE PREPARED TO COMPETE. THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE TIMES DURING LINE-UP AND THE RUNNING OF THE EVENT AND UNTIL RETURNING TO THEIR OWN PIT SPACE.
2.      DRIVERS NEED TO MAKE SURE THEIR RACECEIVERS ARE TURNED ON AND IN WORKING ORDER BEFORE THEY GO ON THE RACE TRACK. CRATE RACIN’ USA OFFICIALS CAN COMMUNICATE A REQUEST FOR YOU TO THE RACE DIRECTOR FOR A RACECEIVER RADIO CHECK. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DRIVER TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A NEW BATTERY INSTALLED IN THEIR RACECEIVERS AT EACH EVENT. REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM THE RACECEIVER EACH TIME YOU COME BACK TO YOUR PIT AREA. KEEP SPARE BATTERIES WITH YOU AT THE TRACK.

SHOULD YOUR RACECEIVER NOT WORK PROPERLY, REMOVE THE BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN TO RESET THE UNIT. IF THAT DOESN’T FIX THE PROBLEM, TRY PUTTING IN A NEW BATTERY. IF IT STILL DOESN’T WORK, CONSULT WITH A CRATE RACIN’ USA OFFICIAL.

NATIONAL AND WEEKLY ENGINE RULES:
1.      GM PART NUMBER 88958602 & GM PART NUMBER 88958604.
2.      THESE ENGINES ARE SEALED AT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, CYLINDER HEAD, FRONT COVER, AND OIL PAN WITH SPECIAL TWIST OFF BOLT HEADS. CRATE ENGINES MUST NOT BE ALTERED, MODIFIED OR CHANGE FROM FACTORY SPECS.
3.      THE SEALED ENGINES MUST REMAIN INTACT AND NOT BE TAMPERED WITH; ANY SEALS THAT HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR TAMPERED WITH WILL MAKE THE ENGINE ILLEGAL AND NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION. THE PENALTY FOR ANYONE TAMPERING WITH SEALS, MODIFYING ANY INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS, CHANGING THE PARTS FROM STOCK AS DELIVERED SEALED FROM THE FACTORY WILL BE SUBJECT TO EXPULSION FROM RACING WITH ANY CRATE RACIN’ USA SANCTIONED EVENT FOR THE REMAINDER OF SEASON AND FUTURE SEASONS.
4.      NO CHANGES ARE ALLOWED TO THE ENGINE – INTAKE MANIFOLD, HEADS, VALVE COVERS, FRONT COVER, OIL PAN, HARMONIC BALANCER OR ANY OTHER PART / OR PARTS ON / OR IN ENGINE.

A) Beginning in January 2010 Competitors may run a maximum of a .020” shim under valve springs on repaired or rebuilt engines, or on new engines, that inconsistencies are found with “install height” or “free height” of replacement valve springs, and must remain with in the GM specifications for install height (604-1.780”, and valve spring seat pressure, 604 105lb maximum. Crate Racin USA Valve Spring Tester is the official tester, and all final rulings will be based on this tester ONLY. WARNING!! It is the racers responsibility to ensure each INDIVIDUAL valve spring has the correct “install height” and meets the maximum valve spring pressure rule, as per the GM specification manual.

5.      NO VACUUM PUMPS.
6.      ALL CRATE ENGINES MUST REMAIN STOCK AS THEY CAME SEALED FROM THE FACTORY. CRATE ENGINES MUST NOT BE ALTERED, MODIFIED OR CHANGED FROM FACTORY SPECS.
7.      ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE TO SERIES TECHNICAL INSPECTORS.
8.      ANY VIOLATION OF THE ENGINE RULES AND/OR FACTORY SPECS INSIDE THE SEALING BOLTS OF THE ENGINE WILL RESULT IN THE DRIVER BEING DISQUALIFIED FROM THAT EVENT, AND SUSPENDED FROM SERIES COMPETITION FOR 365 DAYS AND PAY A $1,000 FINE. AFTER THAT PERIOD, THE DRIVER CAN ONLY COMPETE IN SERIES EVENTS WITH AN ENGINE EQUIPPED WITH ORIGINAL FACTORY SEALING BOLTS, AND MAY NOT COMPETE WITH AN ENGINE EQUIPPED WITH “RM” BOLTS, UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY SERIES OFFICIALS, AND THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE CAR OWNER OF THE CAR SHOULD ANOTHER DRIVER COMPETE WITH IT.
9.      ANY VIOLATION OF THE ENGINE RULES AND/OR FACTORY SPECS OUTSIDE THE SEALING BOLTS OF THE ENGINE WILL RESULT IN THE DRIVER BEING DISQUALIFIED FROM THAT EVENT, SUSPENDED FROM SERIES COMPETITION FOR 30 DAYS, AND FINED $500.00.
NATIONAL AND WEEKLY ENGINE SETBACK RULE:

ARTICLE 4: BODY
4.1 1970 or newer American compact passenger car only. Panel vans or station wagons are not allowed.
4.2 An aluminum half-windshield may be used on driver’s side of the front window opening only.
4.3 Stock appearing front window support units must be used (painted roll bars are not acceptable substitutes). Front window may have a support of no more than six (6) inches at bottom, going straight up to top for non-clear materials. Support may be up to ten (10) inches at bottom, going straight up to top, only if it is a clear Lexan material.
4.4 A minimum window opening of twelve (12) inches must be maintained on
all four (front, back, left and right) window openings.
4.5 Streamlining at top of windshield is not allowed. Bodies must have standard appearing windshield opening and corner post must follow standard configuration.
4.6 Original roof line of vehicle must be maintained with a maximum of five (5) inches of slope from rear to front. No more than one-half (0.5) inch stiffener allowed at the rear of the roof and must turn down perpendicular to the ground. OEM Gremlin roofs are not allowed.
4.7 Sail panels must be of matching design with matching styles on both sides of racecar. Sail panels may have a maximum bow of four (4) inches
top to bottom, maximum bow of three (3) inches front to back and may be no more than eight (8) inches above the back edge of deck.
4.8 Reverse hood rake is not allowed. Hood must be level or slope forward toward nose of racecar.
Back of hood may be no more than two (2) inches above decking.
4.9 Belly pans are not allowed. A belly pan will be defined as any object or material that alters the airflow under the racecar.
4.10 Panel(s) (engine covers) in front of the door next to the engine compartment
are permitted, but must maintain a six (6) inch gap from the door. One side must remain open for inspection of engine on the scales.
4.11 Bodies with excessive damage (as determined by an official) will not be allowed to compete.
4.12 Spoilers:
4.12.1 If utilizing a Flat Tappet/Steel Head Engine (see Rule 16.16), BRODIX Aluminum Spec Head Engine (see Rule 16.17) or CT525 Crate Engine (see Rule 16.18), the maximum rear spoiler height shall be
seven (7) inches. If utilizing any other steel or aluminum heads other than the BRODIX Aluminum Spec Heads, the maximum rear spoiler height shall be five (5) inches.
4.12.2 Rear spoiler may not exceed the width of the rear deck lid, must be flush to the deck and must extend from right edge of deck to left edge of deck.
4.12.3
Rear spoiler must remain separate from sail panels.
4.12.4 A maximum of two (2) center supports and a maximum of two (2) side supports may be attached to the front of the rear spoiler (see body diagram for dimensions).
4.12.5 Fins, wings,
lips or other air spoilers (except as noted above) are not allowed.
4.12.6
Fins, wings, lips or other air spoilers must match corresponding part on opposite side of racecar.
4.13 The rear deck lid and/or trunk area must be covered.
4.14 Aluminum roofs are permitted.
4.15 Doors and quarter panels may be mounted a maximum of one (1) inch above the deck
, and must match side to side.
4.16 Excluding hood and nosepiece, the top of the body should extend no further forward than the back of the engine block. The bottom of the body may extend up to eight (8) inches forward of the back of the engine block.
4.17 Nose may not extend past front bumper and must be a minimum of five (5) inches above the ground. A two (2) inch lip on the nose is permitted, but may go no further than leading edge of hood.
4.18 Bumpers:
4.18.1
Center of bumpers (front and rear) must be a minimum sixteen (16) inches and a maximum twenty (20) inches from ground.
4.18.2 Both front and rear bumpers must be used, and may not have any sharp edges. Any inappropriate bumper may be disallowed at the discretion of an official. Front bumper should be mounted from frame-end to frame-end with the bottom loop parallel to ground. Bumpers must be made of a minimum of one and one-quarter (1.25) inch tubing and must be able to support the racecar if lifted by a tow vehicle. Top bar must be directly above bottom bar.
4.18.3 Rear bumpers may be constructed of tubing or flat stock, and must protect the fuel cell. Rear bumpers may be no more than two (2) inches wider than the body on each side and may not be open-ended (must wrap around and be connected to side rail bars).
4.19 Appearance:
4.19.1 All racecars must be numbered with large legible numbers on both sides, on top and on the nose and real panels. Numbers on the sides of the racecar should be in contrasting color from the body and be at least four (4) inches thick and at least eighteen (18) inches high. Top numbers should be at least four (4) inches thick and twenty-four (24) inches high.
4.19.2 Officials reserve the right, in the public image of the sport and/or the USRA, to assign, approve or disapprove any advertising, sponsorship or similar agreement in connection with any event. All cars must be neat appearing and are subject to approval of officials to compete. By competing in an event, all drivers agree to comply with the decisions of officials in this regard.
4.20 Overall width of the racecar may not exceed 78 inches. Width shall be measured from the widest points on each side of the racecar.

ARTICLE 5: ROLL CAGES
5.1 Round steel tubing, seamless roll-over bars are required for the basic roll cage, and must be acceptable to officials. Acceptable tubing is as follows: one and three-quarters (1.75) inches by nine-tenths (0.9) of an inch or one and one-half (1.5) inches by ninety-five one-hundredths (0.95) of an inch for mild steel and DOM tubing (one and three-quarters (1.75) inches by eighty-three one-hundredths (0.83) of an inch for chrome-moly tubing). Aluminum and/or other soft metals are not allowed. Roll bar connections must be properly welded.
5.2 Roll bars within the driver’s reach must be padded with an accepted material as determined by an official. Fire retardant material is highly recommended.
5.3 Installation and workmanship must be acceptable to officials.
5.4 Must be frame-mounted in at least six (6) places.
5.5 Must consist of a configuration of front and rear hoops connected by tubing on the sides or side hoops.
5.6 With helmet on and driver securely strapped into the racing seat, top of driver’s head must not protrude above the roll cage.
5.7 Must have a protective screen or bars in front window opening in front of driver’s face.
5.8 Protection of driver’s feet utilizing a bar across the back of the engine with vertical bars and rub rails or similar protection is mandatory.
5.9 Brace bars forward of roll cage may not be higher than the stock hood height.
5.10 A minimum of three (3) driver side door bars must be parallel to ground and located perpendicular to the driver so as to provide maximum protection for the driver, but without causing undue difficulty in getting in or out of the racecar. Side bars must be welded to the front and the rear of the roll cage members. Door bars with a thickness of less than nine-tenths (0.9) of an inch should have four (4) bars at least one and one-half (1.5) inches in diameter at a minimum of eighty-three one-hundredths (0.83) of an inch thickness and be gusseted in place. The door bars must have six (6) vertical studs per side of one and three-quarters (1.75) inches by eighty-three one-hundredths (0.83) of an inch minimum seamless round tubing equally spaced.

ARTICLE 6: FRAME
6.1 Factory production complete full 1960 or newer parallel American passenger car frames only. Frames may be cut in rear only at a point not further than thirty-six (36) inches from center of rear end housing.
6.2 May only be altered for the installation of springs and shocks.
6.3 All components must be made of steel and be properly welded.
6.4 Must be full and complete on both sides, may not be widened or narrowed and must be able to support roll cage on both sides.
6.5 Minimum height from ground is four (4) inches. Exception: front cross member may be notched for radiator clearance only. Right front frame rail must be a maximum of seven and one-quarter (7.25) inches above the ground.
6.6 Jeep, Bronco or similar four-wheel drive frames are not allowed. Sports car frames are not allowed. Front-wheel-drives are not allowed.
6.7 Rear of frame may be altered to accept leaf or coil springs.
6.8 Hydraulic, ratchet or electric weight jacks are not allowed anywhere on the racecar. Aluminum jack bolts are not allowed.
6.9 Wheelbase must be a minimum of one-hundred eight (108) inches on both sides (no tolerance).
6.10 Tubular front clips are not allowed.
6.11 Maximum overall width of car (at front or rear) shall not exceed seventy-eight (78) inches from outside of tread to outside of tread (no tolerance).

ARTICLE 7: COCKPIT
7.1 Loose objects and/or weights are not allowed.
7.2 Air bags are not allowed.
7.3 Rear view mirrors are not allowed.
7.4 Floor and firewall must be complete in the driver’s compartment. No interior sheet metal can be higher than or enclose a standard window opening. Sheet metal in the driver’s compartment must be horizontal from the top of the driver shaft tunnel to the right side door bars or angle from the top of the drive shaft tunnel upwards to the top of the right side door bars. Driver must be able to exit the racecar from both sides.
7.5 Steering:
7.5.1 Must be OEM and must remain within original bolt pattern for type of frame used
7.5.2 Rack and pinion is not allowed.
7.5.4 May be modified to suit driver, but must remain on left side of cockpit (no center steering).
7.5.5 Quick-release metal coupling on steering wheel is mandatory. Plastic couplings are not allowed.
7.6 Seat:
7.6.1 Factory-manufactured racing seats are mandatory, and must be acceptable to officials.
7.6.2 Homemade aluminum, plastic or fiberglass seats are not allowed.
7.6.3 Must be properly installed and seat back cannot be moved back further than rear edge of quarter post.
7.6.4 High-back aluminum seats only. Full containment racing seats are strongly recommended.

ARTICLE 8: SUSPENSION
8.1 Must remain stock-type for the type of frame being used. Steel aftermarket parts may be used as stock components as long as they mount in the stock location and are the same size as the OEM parts. This includes lower tubular A-frames. If using lower tubular A-frames, must match factory specs.
All parts must meet OE specs and match side to side.
8.2 Aluminum and/or titanium components are strictly forbidden. Magnet must stick to all components.
8.3 Steel tube-type upper A-frames are permitted and may be moved. Steel or aluminum cross shafts are permitted.
8.4 Coil-over springs are not allowed on the front.
8.5 Stock passenger car spindles only. Fabricated spindles are not allowed. Bottom A-frames may not be altered, lightened or moved and must match side to side.
8.6 Front sway bars may be used. Front sway bars must be made of steel and may be attached to the bottom A-frame using steel heim joints. Must be solid full-length OEM.
8.7 Rear panhard bars may be used. Must be made of steel and may be attached by using a minimum three-quarter (0.75) inch i.d. steel heim joint.
8.8 Steel coil-over eliminators or steel/aluminum coil-over kits are permitted on the rear only, but must conform to shock and spring rules.
8.9 Suspension and/or rear-end parts must be made of steel. Aluminum mounting brackets are permitted.
8.10 Shocks & Springs:
8.10.1 One shock only per wheel is permitted.
8.10.2 Aluminum heims on shocks are not allowed (steel caps only).
8.10.3 Air shocks are not allowed.
8.10.4 All coil springs must be at least four and one-half (4.5) inches outside diameter. Springs must be made of steel. Torsion bars are not allowed in rear.
8.10.5 Canister shocks are not allowed.
8.10.6 External rubber bump stops are permitted (steel or plastic cup only).
8.10.7 Shocks shall be subject to claim, as outlined in Claim Procedures (Article 19).
8.10.8 Progressive springs are not allowed (except on pull bar or lift bar).
8.10.9 Cockpit-adjustable shocks are not allowed.

ARTICLE 9: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
9.1 Battery:
9.1.1 Must be securely mounted inside frame rails and covered.
9.1.2 One (1) 12-volt or 16-volt battery is permitted.
9.1.3 Voltage converters are not allowed.
9.1.4
All battery posts must be securely covered.
9.2 Ignition:
9.2.1 Magnetos and/or crank-triggered ignitions are permitted only for racecars utilizing a Crate Engine (see Rule 16.9).
9.2.2 One (1) coil only is permitted.
9.2.3 Kill switch required within easy reach of the driver. The switch must be clearly marked “OFF” and “ON”.
9.2.4 MSD ignition boxes shall be subject to claim, as outlined in Claim Procedures (Article 19).
9.2.5 Must utilize an 8,000 RPM rev-limiting chip (7,300 if utilizing Crate Engine). Chip may not be within reach of the driver while in cockpit and must be accessible to officials at any time. Track will distribute chips to each driver each race night. Any driver caught altering the chip or ignition system in any way so as to defeat the chip rule shall receive a 30-day suspension, loss of all track and national points for the night and a $1,000 fine for the first offense. Second offense shall be a one-year suspension, loss of all track and national points for the season and a $2,000 fine.

ARTICLE 10: FUEL SYSTEM
10.1 Fuel:
10.1.1 Must be automotive gasoline or alcohol only. Additives of any kind are not allowed. E85 ethanol or racing fuel is permitted. Penalty for illegal fuel is loss of points, cash and awards earned for that event.
10.1.2 May not be blended with ethers or other oxygenates, and may not be blended with aniline or its derivatives, nitro compounds or other nitro containing compounds. Oxygenated fuel is not allowed.
10.2 Electric fuel pumps are not allowed.
10.3 Carburetor:
10.3.1 One (1) two-barrel, four-barrel or Predator carburetor properly installed will be permitted.
10.3.2 Must be naturally aspirated.
10.3.3 Fuel injection is not allowed.
10.3.4 An adapter with gasket is permitted. Adapter and gasket combined may be no more than two and one-quarter (2.25) inches.
10.4 Fuel Cell:
10.4.1 Must be commercially manufactured and must be mounted utilizing at least two (2) steel straps. Straps must be two (2) inches wide at all measuring points.
10.4.2 Must be enclosed in a steel container and must be protected in rear of axle by roll cage tubing mounted securely.
10.4.3 No part may be lower than protective tubing. Protective tubing must be no wider than six (6) inches on both sides. Fuel cell may be no lower than ten (10) inches from the ground.
10.4.4 Must have check valves.
10.4.5 Limited to a maximum capacity of thirty-two (32) gallons.
10.4.6 Must have check valves. A ball-type, flapper or spring or filler rollover valve is mandatory for fuel cells without a positive seal filler neck/cap system.

ARTICLE 11: TIRES & WHEELS
11.1 Wheels:
11.1.1 Must be fifteen (15) inches in diameter and eight (8) inches in width.
11.1.2 Stickers are not required.
11.1.3 Must be reinforced steel only.
11.1.4 A steel or aluminum bead lock may be used on the right front and right rear wheels only, and may be mounted on the outside of the wheel so long as it does not add over three-quarters (3/4) of an inch to the overall width of the wheel.
11.1.5 Homemade mud caps are not allowed.
11.1.6 Wheel covers are permitted on right side wheels only. Inner mud plugs are permitted.
11.1.7 Wide five wheel adaptors are not allowed.
11.1.8 Steel or aluminum spacer between hub and wheel is permitted, but overall width of racecar cannot exceed 78 inches (see Rule 4.19).
11.1.9 Aluminum or steel lug nuts are permitted.
11.2 Tires:
11.2.1 American Racer G60 or KK704 stamped or non-stamped tires are permitted. All non-stamped tires must be asphalt (no dirt).
11.2.2 Softening is not allowed. Solvents of any kind are not allowed. Altering tires with any components or chemicals which alter the manufacturer’s baseline-settings of the tire is not allowed.
11.2.3 Grooving and/or siping is permitted.
11.2.4 All sidewall markings must remain visible at all times. Buffing or removing of the compound designations is not allowed.
11.3 Tire Testing Procedures:
11.3.1 Random GC (gas chromatography) scans will be performed to identify illegal substances. A GC scan should always be a peak in 19-20 minutes. If there is no peak, the driver will be disqualified. Driver may protest the GC scan results and request a mass spec test at the cost to the driver (usually around $300). The mass spec test will reveal exactly what substance was used. The main peak of the tire should never be in half.
11.3.2
Traces of chemicals and/or excessive quantities of chemicals found to be outside the baseline on any test is automatic disqualification. First offense shall result in loss of all points accumulated for the season, forfeiture of all prize money earned for the event, a $5,000 fine and a one-year suspension from USRA-sanctioned events. Driver will not be permitted to compete in any future USRA-sanctioned event until fine is paid in full. Second offense shall result in the same penalties for first offense, but with a lifetime suspension from all future USRA-sanctioned events.
11.3.3 It is strongly recommended that all drivers use only soap and water. Baking tires will not eliminate traces of illegal substances. The USRA will aggressively test for illegal substances and will levy severe punishment for infractions.

ARTICLE 12: BRAKING SYSTEM
12.1 Must be operating on all four wheels and must lock up all four wheels during inspection.
12.2 Must have caliper and rotor on all four wheels. Vented rotors are required on front wheels.
12.3 Electronic brake actuators are not allowed.
12.4 Calipers may not be lightened and must be OEM
12.5 Steel or aluminum single-piston OEM-type calipers are permitted.
12.6 Rotors must be steel and may not be lightened or drilled. Rotors may be re-drilled for different bolt patterns or larger studs.
12.7 Front-to-rear brake bias is permitted
(no left to right).
12.8 Brake shut-offs are not allowed.
12.9 Brake lines must be visible.
12.10 Must maintain minimum OEM dimensions for hubs, rotors and calipers.

ARTICLE 13: DRIVE SHAFT
13.1 A loop is required and must be constructed of at least one-quarter (0.25) inch by two (2) inch solid steel. Loop must be mounted no more than six (6) inches from the front of the drive shaft tube. Alternatively, two (2) loops of one-quarter (0.25) inch by one (1) inch solid steel fastened to cross member are permitted.
13.2 Must be painted white and made of steel.

ARTICLE 14: TRANSMISSION
14.1 OEM three-, four- and five-speed and automatic production-types allowed.
14.2 “In and out” boxes are not allowed.
14.3 Must all be clutch-operated.
14.4 Bert and Brinn transmissions are permitted. With motor running and racecar in stationary position, driver must be able to engage racecar in gear and move forward, then backward, at time of inspection.
14.5 Clutch must be inside of bell housing for OEM production-types.
14.6 One (1) forward gear and one (1) reverse gear must be in working order, plus a neutral position, and must be able to be shifted by driver.
14.7 Clutch-type transmissions must be equipped with an explosion-proof steel bell housing. Aluminum must be SFI-approved (GM bell housing is not SFI approved).
14.8 Automatic, Bert or Brinn transmissions must have a guard two-hundred seventy (270) degrees around flex plate or flywheel, and must be constructed of at least one-quarter (0.25) inch steel. Alternatively, automatic transmissions may utilize an SFI-approved aftermarket guard.
14.9 All racecars must have the capability of starting without being pushed or pulled.

ARTICLE 15: REAR-END
15.1 Any passenger car or truck type is permitted. Aluminum is not allowed except lowering blocks, axle cap and drive plate.
15.2 Quick change rear-ends are permitted: Steel tubes only; ten (10) inch ring gear only; pinion and carrier bearings must be tapered; titanium is not allowed; wide-five wheel patterns are not allowed; aluminum spools are permitted. Magnesium will be permitted until such date that the cost increases, at which time only magnesium rear-ends purchased prior to that date will be permitted and must have original serial number.
15.3 Cambered rear-ends are not allowed. One-piece drive flange only.
15.4 Traction devices are not allowed (includes Gold Track, True Track or similar type components).

ARTICLE 16: ENGINE
16.1 Must be able to be used in conventional passenger car without alteration. Motor mounts may not be removed or altered. Castings (includes block, heads and intake) and fittings may not be changed. Machine work on outside of engine, or on front or rear of camshaft, is not allowed. If utilizing lightened blocks (removal of material from inside and/or outside), an additional twenty-five (25) pounds of weight must be added in front of the mid-plate.
16.2 Total “dry sump” systems are not allowed. “Wet” system must be in stock operating order, except oil coolers and remote filters are permitted.
16.3 Modification of cooling system is permitted. Radiators and oil coolers may not protrude above interior.
16.4 Any American make may be used. Rear of engine (bell housing flange) must be mounted at least seventy-two (72) inches forward from the center line of the rear axle – NO TOLERANCE.
16.5 Offset must be within two (2) inches of centerline of front cross member.
16.6 Must be a minimum of eleven (11) inches from ground to front center of crankshaft.
16.7 Steel blocks only –aluminum and/or titanium are not allowed.
16.8 Overflow tubes must be directed toward the ground and inside the frame rails.
16.9 Radiator must be mounted in front of engine.
16.10 Wiring elements must be accessible for technical inspection. Any racecar advancing spots and missing will be subject to disqualification.
16.11 Tri-Y headers are permitted, but cannot contain stainless steel.
16.12 Exhaust system and/or mufflers must be mounted in such a way as to direct spent gases away from the cockpit and away from areas of possible fuel spillage.
16.13 Mufflers may be required at track's discretion.
16.14 Roller cams are permitted, unless otherwise noted.
16.15 Engine type shall determine the overall weight of the racecar (see Rule 17.3), spoiler height (see Rule 4.12.1) and RPM limits of the rev-limiting chip (see Rule 9.2.5).
16.16 Flat Tappet/Steel Head Engine:
16.16.1 If valve angle is 23 degrees, the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand four-hundred (2,400) pounds. If valve angle is less than 23 degrees, the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand five-hundred (2,500) pounds (see Rule 17.3.1). The maximum rear spoiler height shall be
seven (7) inches (see Rule 4.12.1).
16.16.2 Stock diameter lifters only. Mushroom lifters are not allowed.
16.16.3 Stud girdles and shaft rockers are permitted.
16.16.4 Engine components must be of matching manufacturers (i.e. Chevy for Chevy).
16.17 Flat Tappet/BRODIX Aluminum Spec Head Engine:
16.17.1
The overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand three-hundred fifty (2,350) pounds (see Rule 17.3.2). The maximum rear spoiler height shall be seven (7) inches (see Rule 4.12.1).
16.17.2 Approved product numbers for the BRODIX Aluminum Spec Head are SPCH (Chevrolet), SPFO (Ford) and SPMO (Mopar) for USRA. 
16.17.3 Removing, relocating, grinding, polishing or defacing of any cast letters and/or numbers is strictly forbidden.
16.17.4 May be angle milled, but valve angle must remain within one (1) degree of original manufactured specification.
16.17.5 Valve guides must retain original angle and spacing as manufactured. Valve guides may not be tapered, thinned or shortened whatsoever. Minimum valve stem diameter must be five-sixteenths (.310) inch.
16.17.6 Absolutely no welding or adding material of any kind.
16.17.7 Removal of material is not allowed, except for pushrod clearance. Factory CNC chamber may not be altered in any way.
16.17.8 Absolutely no enlarging, relocating or other altering of any bolt hole, dowel hole or threaded hole, except to spot face bolt holes after angle milling.
16.17.9 Heli coils may be used for repairs.
16.17.10 Absolutely no grinding or polishing of any kind anywhere on the casting, except for pushrod clearance.

16.19 Crate Engine:
16.19.1 The overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of
two-thousand three-hundred (2,300) pounds (see Rule 17.3.5). The maximum rear spoiler height shall be seven (7) inches (see Rule 4.12.1).
16.19.2 GM Performance Parts (GPP) factory-sealed CT525 Chevy small block crate engine (Part No. 19171821): includes aluminum block and heads, hypereutectic aluminum pistons, nodular iron crank and hydraulic roller tappet camshaft. 16.19.3 Must have “Crate” sticker on racecar. Any driver running a sticker designating a different engine with a “Crate” sticker will be disqualified with loss of points and earnings for that event.
16.19.4 Must be unaltered and sealed from factory at appropriate points (intake, head, timing chain cover and oil pan) with approved GPP break-off bolts. Any altered, damaged or missing GPP break-off bolts will result in driver being disqualified from that event, loss of all track and national points accumulated up to, and including, the date of the offense, a $5,000 fine and a one-year suspension from all USRA-sanctioned events.
16.19.5 Official and/or promoter reserves the right to exchange a crate engine for a similar crate engine of the same model (provided by the promoter or the USRA) at any time with any driver utilizing a crate engine.
16.19.6 The diagnostic program and your portable tuning device (laptop computer) is considered to be a functioning part of the racecar and must be readily available during any and all inspections.

ARTICLE 17: WEIGHT
17.1 The overall weight of the racecar shall be measured at the conclusion of an event with the driver in the cockpit, wearing complete racing apparel.
17.2
All racecars must display weight at which it will compete on left side windshield post. Must be two (2) inches tall and in contrasting color to the racecar.
17.3 Overall Weight:
17.3.1 If utilizing a Flat Tappet/Steel Head Engine with a 23-degree valve angle (see Rule 16.16) or BRODIX Aluminum Spec Head Engine (see Rule 16.18), the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand four-hundred (2,400) pounds.
17.3.2
If utilizing Flat Tappet/BRODIX Aluminum Spec Head Engine (see rule 16.17), the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand three-hundred fifty (2,350) pounds.
17.3.3 If utilizing steel or aluminum heads with a 23-degree valve angle, the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand four-hundred fifty (2,450) pounds.
17.3.4 If utilizing steel or aluminum raised runner heads, or less than a 23-degree valve angle, the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of two-thousand five-hundred (2,500) pounds.
17.3.5 If utilizing a Crate Engine (see Rule 16.19), the overall weight of the racecar must be a minimum of
two-thousand three-hundred (2,300) pounds.
17.4 If utilizing aluminum heads other than the BRODIX Aluminum Spec Heads, racecar must have a minimum fifty (50) pounds of weight in front of mid-plate.
17.5 If utilizing lightened blocks (removal of material from inside and/or outside), an additional twenty-five (25) pounds of weight must be added in front of the mid-plate (see Rule 16.1).
17.10 Ballast:
17.10.1 May not be mounted in cockpit, or outside of body or hood area.
17.10.2 Must be securely mounted, painted white and clearly marked with the car number.
17.10.3 Must be attached with at least two (2) one-half (0.5) inch bolts.
17.10.4 May not be attached to rear bumper.

ARTICLE 18: SAFETY
18.1 It is recommended that each racecar have built-in fire extinguishing equipment, but cannot be of the dry powder type (must be Halon 1211 or equivalent).
18.2 Drivers should have in their pit area as part of their equipment, at all times, a fully charged dry chemical, Halon (or its equivalent) fire extinguisher. Ten (10) or thirteen (13) pound fire extinguishers are highly recommended.
18.3 Driver must wear required helmet, fire suit and five-point safety harness whenever the racecar is on the racetrack. This includes during track packing, warm ups, hot laps and races.
18.4 Helmets are mandatory and must be certified Snell SA2000, SA2005 or SA2011 Standard or SFI Spec 31.1A, 31.1/2005 or 31.1/2011.
18.5 Helmet must accompany driver and racecar at time of inspection.
18.7 Complete one- or two-piece fire suits of a flame retardant nature are mandatory. A fire suit certified to SFI Spec 3.2A/5 is strongly recommended.
18.8 SFI-approved fire-resistant gloves and shoes are mandatory. Gloves and shoes certified to SFI Spec 3.3/5 is strongly recommended. Fire resistant socks are strongly recommended.
18.9 The use of a five- six- or seven-point driver restraint system (safety belts, sub-belt and shoulder harness) is required. Factory-type shoulder belts or straps are not allowed. The use of a seven-point driver restraint system certified to SFI Spec 16.1 or 16.5 is strongly recommended.
18.10 Metal to metal buckles are required on shoulder and seat belts.
18.11 Shoulder harness must be mounted securely to the roll cage.
18.12 Where the belt passes through the seat edges, a grommet must be installed, rolled and/or padded to prevent cutting of the belt.
18.13 Driver restraint system must be less than three (3) years of age past the date of manufacture. It is recommended that the driver restraint system be no more than two (2) years past the date of manufacture.
18.14 Full-size window net mounted in the left side driver’s window opening is required. Window net mounts must be welded to the roll cage. All bars around the driver must have approved roll bar padding. Approved racing arm restraints are recommended. Must be certified to SFI Spec 27.1.
18.15 Fire-resistant safety neck collars are mandatory.

ARTICLE 19: CLAIMING PROCEDURES
19.1 Any driver possessing a valid USRA license may have the opportunity to execute a claim on shock(s) or MSD ignition box of another driver’s racecar.
19.2 The first four (4) finishers in the main event must drive their racecars directly to the designated claim area at the conclusion of the main event, and are subject to being claimed by any other driver that finishes fifth or lower and finishes on the same lap as the winner.
19.3 Claims must be made within five (5) minutes of the completion of the main event. Claimed items must be removed at the racetrack and within one (1) hour after claimed driver accepts the claim.
19.4 Driver making claim must drive his/her race car immediately after finish of feature, under its own power, directly to the claim area.
19.5 Claiming driver must present claim card and cash to official overseeing the claim area at the time that the driver declares his/her intention to claim. The cash price of the claim shall $100 each for shocks; or $250 for MSD ignition boxes. Drivers claiming shocks may claim one (1) or more shocks during a single claim.
19.6 Claiming driver shall select from the first four (4) finishers in the main event, and must declare that choice to the official overseeing the claim area. If the claiming driver decides at that time that he/she does not wish to execute the claim, he/she will nonetheless be charged one claim on his/her claim card. If multiple drivers declare an intention to claim, the driver finishing farthest back in the main event will draw first.
19.7 Driver is permitted one (1) claim per event, regardless of the outcome of that claim.
19.8 Only drivers and officials are permitted in the designated claim area. Any other participants associated with that racecar that enter the claim area will be subject to disqualification, fine and/or suspension.
19.9 Only a driver may claim, and only the claimed driver may agree to accept or refuse the claim. The first statement of acceptance or rejection of the claim by the claimed driver is binding.
19.10 Any driver refusing to accept a claim will forfeit all cash and contingency winnings for that event.
19.11 Any driver refusing to accept a claim forfeits his/her right to make a claim in any USRA event for a period of one (1) year from the date of refusal.
19.12 Any driver refusing to accept a claim will forfeit all USRA points (national and track) accumulated up to, and including, the event at which the claim was made.
19.13 First refusal to accept a claim will result in that driver being suspended from all USRA events for thirty (30) days and until a $1,000 fine is paid and received at USRA headquarters. Second refusal to accept a claim will result in that driver being suspended from all USRA events for one (1) year and until a $5,000 fine is paid and received at USRA headquarters.
19.14 Any driver found to be making a claim for another person will lose all USRA points (national and track) accumulated to date for the entire season, all cash and contingency winnings for that event, and will be suspended from all USRA events for thirty (30) days and until a $1,000 fine is paid and received at USRA headquarters.
19.15 Sabotage of claimed parts will result in driver being suspended from all USRA events for fourteen (14) days and until a $1,000 fine is paid and received at USRA headquarters. Driver will also forfeit all USRA points (national and track) accumulated up to, and including, the event at which the sabotage occurred. Furthermore, driver will forfeit the privilege to make a claim for a period of one (1) year from the date on which the sabotage occurred.
19.16 Driver may claim a maximum of three (3) times during the calendar year.
19.17 After making an accepted claim, driver must finish in the top four (4) of a main event and reinstate his/her claim card. Cost is $25 for reinstatement of claim card. Driver will not be eligible to make another claim unless claim card is reinstated.
19.18 Cost for replacement of a lost claim card is $25.
19.19 Driver must compete in a minimum of three (3) consecutive events prior to the event at which he/she makes a claim.
19.20 The USRA reserves the right to disallow any claim at their discretion.
19.21 Drivers utilizing a provisional starting position in the main event are not allowed to make a claim in that event.
19.22 At their discretion, officials reserve the option to claim the shock(s) or MSD ignition box of any racecar. Officials may exchange MSD ignition boxes at any time.
19.23 Drivers will be eligible to make a claim during the first event of the season. After one event, driver must have raced in previous events before Rule 19.19 applies.
19.24 Disqualification shall not affect a legal claim. Claimed parts will be removed and transferred prior to any penalties being assessed.

All spring buckets must be welded to prevent adjustmentsTRACTION CONTROL:
            Other than listed under REAR SUSPENSION, no other traction devices are permitted.BODY:
            OEM production body. Complete stock body, unaltered except as stated here. Hoods may be gutted. Firewall must be completely stock and in the stock location. No open holes in firewall (seal Penetrations). Maintain the stock floor from firewall rearward to the leading edge of the trunk. Floorpans must have sheet metal to cover any rusted out sections. There must be a firewall between the driver’s compartment and the trunk. NO decking allowed between the front dash and the rear of the drivers seat. All doors must be welded and / or bolted shut. Exterior door sheet metal may be replaced with fabricated sheet metal panels. Doors may be gutted. Install 3 driver’s sidebars, with 1/8” steel plate covering the door bars from front to back and top to bottom welded in place on outside of bars  (Strongly Recommended). Install a minimum of 2 right side bars. The frame rails do not count as the door bars. See the safety rules for other items. Trunk lid may be gutted. All glass must be removed. No mirrors. Grill may be replaced with wire mesh. Must have stock bodylines. Must have a metal firewall between driver and fuel cell. No fuel line in drivers compartment unless contained in conduit / pipe. Stop sign post material allowed between front and rear fenders on side of body to protect sheet metal and paint jobs. Fenders may be cut for tire clearance. Front fender wells may be removed. Rear fender wells must be sealed, homemade OK. The rear of the car must be closed in.Must run stock trunk, stock roof and stock hood. Fenders, doors and quarters may be sheet metal.NOSE / GRILL:
            Aftermarket plastic nose for Make / Model OK. Front grill may be removed if such nose is installed.FRONT BUMPER:
            OEM for Make / Model OK. Fabricated Late Model type front bumpers may be used if professionally built and properly installed. No sharp edges. Ends must be modified with tubing to produce a backward bend. Maximum bumper width is 60 inches. May not extend more than 3 inches outward from the attachment point of the last support / brace that attaches at a 45 to 90 degree angle. 1 upper and 1 lower bar of no more than 1 inch tubing no more than 60 inches wide may be added to the bumper to support the nosepiece. These bars may be no wider than the bumper and must have ends that curve backward and may curve upward or downward towards the bumper. Bumper ends must be smooth and rounded and stay within the bodylines. All bumper material mounts; braces and hardware must be steel and / or aluminum.Hood:
            May have an opening for the air cleaner. The claimed engine size must be displayed on each side of the hood reading from the closet side of the car. Use letters at least 3 inches tall with the length proportional to the height.ROOF:
            Stock. No spoilers or wings. The left and right edges of the roof are to be approximately the same height from the top of the doors and quarter panels. No more than 1 inch tolerance. The left and right side support panels for the roof must be the same design and front to back length.INTERIOR:

            All cars must weight 3400 pounds with driver on board after the race..  

SUPER STREET RULES    

MINIMUM WEIGHT 3000 POUNDS WITH DRIVER AFTER THE RACE. WEIGHT WILL BE 9 POUNDS PER CUBIC INCH. CUBIC INCH MUST BE ON THE HOOD.

If cubic inch is P&G’d or bore and stroked, cubic inch must match what is displayed on hood, no matter of weight. Must match within + or – 5 cubic inches.

BODY

  1. Must have a factory or fabricated firewall.
  2. No engine set back or offset. # 1 spark plug must be even with upper ball joint + or – I inch. No cut out holes in firewall. Must be filled with sheet metal if missing.
  3. Metal dash allowed.
  4. Air cleaner hole allowed in hood.
  5. Any bars necessary to insure rigid frame and radiator protection will be permitted behind front and rear bumpers.
  6. 101″ minimum wheel base. (+ / – 1″) No more than 1″ total difference between left and right side, not 1″ per side. No compacts. Pick-ups are allowed. Front inner panels optional.
  7. Trunk lid may be gutted.
  8. After market nose piece allowed.
  9. Sheet metal or aluminum doors allowed 22 or 24 gauge only and must have stock bodylines.
  10. Stop sign post material allowed between front and rear fenders on side of body to protect sheet metal and paint jobs.
  11. Front and rear firewalls must be in stock location but may be repaired with sheet metal to cover any holes.  
  12. Factory spoilers or sheet metal spoilers no more than 12″ taller than the rear edge of the trunk lid, and no wider than rear of car. Side panels may go 24″ maximum from rear edge of trunk, forward. Maximum of 12″ high also.
  13. Stock  floor pan. May use sheet metal to cover rusted out holes.  Must have a complete floor pan from drivers door to passenger door. No empty floor pans as is in modifieds or late models. May be sheet metal.          
  14. Front fender wells and hood lining may be removed. Doors may be gutted.
  15. The drivers seat must be in front of the leading edge of the door. The door must be in the stock location. This rule applies to two and four door cars.
  16. All general and safety rules apply.
  17. Performance bodies allowed. Must maintain street stock style appearance. Must have some portion or factory firewalls and floorpan in place. Cannot use an all sheet metal car on a jig chassis. Cannot be a stock frame with roll cage and all sheet metal.  Stock, factory driveshaft tunnel has to be in place.

FRAME

  1.  Must be GM body on GM car, Ford body on Ford car and Chrysler body on Chrysler car.
  2. Unibodies must connect front and rear with tubing, and may use roll cage to strengthen frame, as long as bars do not extend outside of body.
  3. Late model cars must use late model frames.

FUEL SYSTEM

  1. No electric fuel pumps allowed. 
  2. Fuel cells required.
  3. Fuel will be gasoline only, no alcohol and no additives. No octane boosters. No nitrous oxide
  4. Fuel cells may be relocated for safety.

SEATS

  1. Racing type seats required.
  2. The seats will be securely fastened.

SEAT BELTS

  1. Quick release belt no less than 3″ wide is mandatory.
  2. No more than 4 years old.
  3. Shoulder harness mandatory. This harness must be mounted in at least 5 points below driver’s shoulders.
  4. Both ends of the belt must be securely fastened to roll cage with quality bolts no less than 3\8″ in diameter.
  5. Belts shall come from behind the driver.

ENGINE: OPTION # 1
Any cubic inch engine 2 barrel holley 4412 MUST weigh 3000lbs may run a 602 sealed crate engine with a 4 barrel

ENGINE OPTION # 2
Any cubic inch engine with any holley 4 barrel MINIMUM 3400 lbs.

ENGINE OPTION # 3
604 Crate Engine must be sealed with any carburetor

CLUTCH, TRANSMISSION AND DRIVE TRAIN:

  1. Any clutch, pressure plate and flywheel for a car with manual trans.
  2. Any torque converter for cars with automatic trans. Shift kits are ok.
  3. Must run drive shaft safety loop on all cars. Must be 5″ to 8″ behind front U joint.
  4. Drive shaft must be painted white.
  5. Bert / Brinn / Falcon Transmission allowed

FRONT SUSPENSION

  1. Must be in stock location as produced by manufacturer.
  2. Steel shocks only. Shock must be in stock location. Any shock location on right front only.
  3. Right front upper control arm may be reinforced for safety. AFTER MARKET UPPER CONTROL ARMS ALLOWED. LOWERS MUST REMAIN STOCK.  No modification to lower control  arms,  control arms same on both sides metric/metric, camaro/camaro, GM can run GM, Ford can run Ford, but must be same for both sides.
  4. ***Three wheel brakes allowed, brake bias optional.
  5. Springs must be stock type minimum 5″ in diameter. Racing springs allowed.
  6. Weight jack allowed on RIGHT FRONT ONLY.
  7. Quick steer ok.

REAR SUSPENSION:

  1. Stock as produced by the manufacturer, except rear end housing may be replaced with any 5 or 6 lug rear end. NO QUICK CHANGE REAR ENDS ALLOWED.
  2. Stock suspension and frame must be retained. No heim ends allowed. No rear jack screws allowed.  METRIC-lower bars 2 3/4inches down from the axle tube,  stock length trailing arms on both sides, and mounted securely on rearend and chassis
  3. Shocks must be in stock plane location. Shock mounts may be raised or lowered but only within the original plane of the stock shocks. Steel shocks only.  No adjustable shocks.  Heim ends  allowed on shocks.  Metric- shocks should be mounted on center of rear drop bars. No add on traction devices, or modifications of any kind.
  4. Adjustable shackles and racing springs allowed. May use Ford 8″ or 9″ rear end (GM cars included). Coil springs cars are allowed to run adjustable buckets.  No sliders on leaf springs. No composite leaf springs.
  5. Rear end may be locked.
  6. May use disc brakes.
  7. Floating axles ok, axle retainers ok.

TIRES AND WHEELS

  1. Steel bead locks are ok
  2. 8″ or 10" Steel wheels maximum allowed
  3. Must run Hoosier G-60 tires, H-84 or DOT passenger tires 60 series max. Asphalt pull-offs or American Racer KK-704 are allowed.
  4. Grooving and siping are allowed, but no soaking or use of softening chemicals allowed.

 

There will be a $250 claim on ANY MSD box, on ANY car, at ANY time after the feature race. Only 2 claims allowed by each car per year. As soon as the feature race is over you must notify the tech man in person that you wish to claim someone’s MSD box and hand him $250 cash. The tech man will notify that driver that his/her MSD box has been claimed and he may agree or refuse to allow the claim. If he/she agrees, he will remove the box only, with the technical director watching, and hand it to the claimer. The tech man will then hand him the $250 cash. If the person being claimed refuses, he/she will lose all points accumulated up to that point and will be DQ’d for that nights event.

                                                                               

MINI STOCK/FOUR CYLINDER

Weight limit will be 1 lb. per CC with a minimum weight limit of 2000 lbs. with driver anytime. Total weight will depend on the total CC and weight penalties. KNOW YOUR TOTAL CC WITH BORE AND STROKE UPON ARRIVAL AT THE TRACK. CC AMOUNT MUST BE CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON HOOD OF CAR. Any attached weights must be securely bolted to frame, and must be painted white or florescent orange and have car number clearly painted on them. Due to the high risk factor involved, any car that loses a lead weight during any event will be disqualified for that race and may be banned from the track for the season and/or fined. Two attaching mounts are recommended. No weights may be attached to rear bumper. No lead pellets – no liquid weights. BODY 1. Any 2 or 4 door domestic or foreign car with 90 inches to 105 inches wheel base. No front wheel drives. 2. Cars must have full stock appearing metal body. 3. Glass, chrome, mirrors, and flammable materials must be removed. 4. The fenders may be cut for tire clearance. 5. The dash may be removed. Pedals must remain in stock position. 6. Engine must remain in stock position. 7. Doors must be welded or bolted shut. 8. Cars may be hulled. Must retain stock floorboard and front and rear firewalls. Rocker panel must remain in tack on both sides. 4 inch spoiler allowed. ROLL CAGE AND CHASSIS 1. A four point roll cage is required as a minimum. A full cage is allowed for safety. The roll cage may not alter the original suspension geometry of the car but only to serve to protect the driver. 2. Wheel base must be stock for make and model of car. 3. No jack screws or weight jacking devices allowed. 4. Frame and suspension parts must remain stock for make and model of car. No truck or homemade frames allowed. Frames cannot be lengthened or shortened. 5. Springs must be stock type. 6. Any shock allowed, no more than one per wheel. No coilovers. 7. Must have a minimum of three door bars in left door, four recommended, and two in the right door. 8. No spacers, blocks, or chains to alter suspension. Lowering blocks will be allowed on rearend of car. No sliders allowed. 9. Racing type seats are required and must be securely fastened. 10. Seat setback shall be no more than stock position. 11. Quick release safety belt with shoulder harness is required. TIRES AND WHEELS 1. Tires will have a seven inch minimum width and a ten inch maximum width. No grips. 2. Wheels must be steel. Bead lock wheels allowed. 3. Dirt tires are recommended.

ENGINE 1. Must be four cylinders. 2525 CC maximum. 2. Stock heads and block are mandatory. Add 25 lbs. if ported and polished. Stock intake manifold; aftermarket intake must add 25 lbs. No aftermarket or racing heads allowed. Stock crank only. Aftermarket stock length rods allowed. No billet, titanium, or aluminum rods allowed. 3. Stock replacement pistons allowed. No racing or high performance type pistons. 4. Motorcraft or Holley carburetors, 2 barrel only, 2 inch maximum spacer plate. 5. No fuel injectors or turbos. 6. Headers allowed, no 180 degree headers. 7. No rear engine, mid engine, rotary engine, or dual cam engines. 8. Ignition system must be stock. FUEL SYSTEM 1. Electric fuel pumps are allowed where a mechanical fuel pump cannot be used. Any electric fuel pump must be wired through an oil pressure switch located on the engine block. 2. Fuel cells may be relocated for safety. Cars must have a firewall between driver and fuel cell. 3. Fuel will be gasoline only. No alcohol. 4. Fuel lines routed through the driver’s compartment must be encased in steel pipe.
TRANSMISSIONS AND DRIVE TRAIN 1. Transmission shall be stock manual or automatic. Transmission must have working reverse gear and stock working torque converter. 2. Aluminum flywheels and small clutches allowed. 3. All cars must have a working starter. 4. Rearends must be stock type. No truck or quick change rearends allowed. 5. Rearends may be locked by welding the spider gears. 6. Manual transmissions will have an explosion proof bellhousing or have a shield between the driver and clutch assembly.
                                                                                                                                                       

 STINGERS

Beginner class. The least expensive class that runs at this race track. This class is for novice drivers just entering racing, NOT FOR VETERAN DRIVERS. If you feel you must build a high dollar motor or trick racecar, this class is not for you. Street stock or late model is more in your line.  Management will make the determination as to when a Stinger driver should move up to Pure stock.

CAR
1- Any factory OEM Import or Domestic car, 1980 or later four (4) cylinder powered front-wheel drive passenger vehicle.
2- Must be complete bumper-to-bumper body and frame as OEM Street legal for highway driving.
3- No convertibles
4- No cars with sunroofs, t-tops or any type of removable roof panel will be allowed to race. If a car has a sunroof, or t-tops it can be enclosed or covered with sheet metal (must be approved by  Tech. Official) and allowed to compete.
5- No two-seater models allowed.
6- No mid-engine cars allowed.
7- FACTORY VIN NUMBER PLATE MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL POSITION AND SHOW NO SIGNS OF TAMPERING.
8- The only exception to rule #7 will be made on certain models or makes that have the VIN Number Plate attached to the vinyl dashboard and must be removed due to a fire hazard (refer to rule #13 in the BODY section of these rules). In that case you must complete and have on file with SMS. A VIN Number Plate Form (filled out and approved) from the track with a photo (taken by one of the  Track Officials) of the VIN Number Plate in its original OEM factory location before you start construction of that vehicle. NO EXCEPTIONS! After construction of this car is complete the VIN Number Plate will be permanently attached to the dash in as close to its original OEM Factory location as possible.

BODY
1- Bodies must be metal, and/or completely OEM factory stock.
2- NO METAL (WHATSOEVER) WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE CUT OR HULLED ANYWHERE ON THE CAR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CLEARANCE OF THE THREE (3) DOOR BARS OF THE ROLL CAGE.
3- No modifications to the body of any kind will be allowed.
4- No weight rule.
5- No additional weight can be removed from the car.
6- No additional weight and be added to the car.
7- All doors must be welded shut.
8- All exterior trim, molding, additional chrome, antennas, side rear view mirrors, headlights, taillights, rubber parts, windshield wipers, and etc. must be removed from the car.
9- All glass regardless of its location must be removed from the car.
10- Front and rear bumpers must remain in there original OEM location. Additional bracing will be allowed.
11- If a bumper comes completely off the car or has any part of it touching the ground or is found to be in a dangerous position, that car will be black flagged and removed from competition until repairs can be made to the car.
12- The hood and trunk/hatchback lid must function on the original OEM factory stock hinges. There must be two (2) hood pins located on each hood and trunk/hatchback lid to insure that they do not open on the track due to the failure of the OEM latches.
13- All upholstery, plastic, carpet, or any other item in the interior that could cause a fire hazard must be removed from the car. If your car has the OEM Number Plate attached to any part of the interior that must be removed please refer to rule #8 in the CAR section of these rules.
14- Factory stock OEM steering parts only in their original factory stock location and configuration. No additional steering enhancements allowed. No removal of any factory stock OEM steering parts.
15- Quick release steering wheels are the only modification allowed to the factory stock steering, but not required.
16- Factory stock gauges may remain in the car.
17- No rearview mirrors allowed.
18- Stock floor pan and stock front and rear firewalls must be maintained.
19- Holes created by the removal of the headlights and taillights must be covered with solid material.
20- Holes created by the removal of the factory grill must be covered with some type of expanded metal.
21- Only factory stock OEM rear spoilers allowed. No after market spoilers, ground effects and/or skirting.
22- Minimal ground clearance from the ground to the lowest part of the cars frame unibody or any part of the cars body will be 4-1/2”.

ROLL CAGE
1- Roll cage must consist of continuous hoops not less than 1-1/2” O.D. and must have a wall thickness of at least .083” (no splicing main loop). Must be welded to the frame or un-body not bolted. Must be mounted in at least four (4) places (or in other words a 4-point cage). Low carbon mild steel, seamless tubing is recommended.
2- Roll cage must have three (3) door bars on driver side. Bars should be parallel to the ground and equally spaced.
3- No bars allowed outside the car body.
4- Must have two (2) windshield bars welded to the roll cage made of at least ½” tubing.

ENGINE
1- Engines must be stock for year make, and model of vehicle and in the original OEM stock location with OEM motor mounts.
2- Fuel Injection or Throttle Bodies are allowed if they are original OEM equipment for that year, make, and model as per the factory records according to the VIN number plate.
3- No Turbo Charged or Rotary engines allowed.
4- No after market parts allowed anywhere on the car.
5- No claim on the engines will be allowed in this class.
6- No modifications allowed to the engine, factory stock in all aspects.
7- All cars must retain ALL FACTORY COMPONENTS WHATSOEVER according to the cars VIN number plate such as factory installed A/C compressors, Smog Pumps, etc… with the exception of all unnecessary belts to the operation of the car for racing purposes may be removed.
8- Stock Ignition system only for year, make, and model. No racing or performance enhancing units allowed.
9- All cars must have a properly working starter.
10- Radiators must be factory stock for the year, make, and model of the car and mounted in the original OEM mounted location with the factory drip bottle or reservoir in place and functioning at all times for overflow protection.
11- Must have the original factory stock exhaust manifold for year, make, and model of car. Tail pipes must extend past the rear bar of the roll cage. The catalytic converter and muffler may be removed.
12- All four brakes must be in proper working order and cannot be modified in any way.
13- NO ANTI-FREEZE OR COOLANT ALLOWED.

TRANSMISSION & DRIVE TRAIN
1- Transmission weather it be automatic or manual must be the factor stock OEM for the year, make, and model for that car as per the VIN number plate.
2- Must be mounted in the original OEM position.
3- Transmission must have all forward and reverse factory stock gears functioning in proper order.
4- Only factory OEM stock replacement clutches allowed. No modifying, and no aftermarket, or high performance clutches allowed.
5- No after market, or high performance parts whatsoever anywhere.
6- Must use the OEM stock shifter.
7- Factory stock OEM drive train only per VIN number plate.
8- Differential must remain factory stock and cannot be locked.
9- No modifications whatsoever to the factory stock OEM suspension.
10- No racing or performance enhancing springs, shocks, sway bars, bushings, etc.

TIRES AND WHEELS
1- All wheels must be factory stock OEM (diameter & width) for that year, make, and model of car as per the VIN number plate.
2- No racing or performance enhancing wheels allowed.
3- Wheels cannot be modified in any way such as moving wheel centers or having the wheel widened.
4- No wheel spacers allowed.
5- Longer wheel studs will be allowed, and larger lug nuts are recommended.
6- All four (4) tires must be D.O.T. legal with an “S” or “T” speed rating.
7- No tire allowed with a “V”,“W”, or “Y” speed rating or any type of high performance tread or compound.
8- No retreads or recaps allowed.
9- All four tires must be the same size. No staggering, or size mixing of tire sizes (Example: 4ea. P195/75R 14).
10- Tires will be the proper size for that year, make, and model car as per the VIN number plate.
11- Tires must have a minimum tread depth of 2/32” anywhere on the tire surface.
12- No tire shall have a Durometer reading softer than 58 points or that tire will be considered illegal.
13- Each tire must have a minimum air pressure of 25-PSI when going through TECH. following the race.

SAFETY
1- All cars must have an aluminum-racing seat mounted to the roll cage. No floor mounted seats allowed.
2- All cars must have a safety harness with a minimum strap width of 3” and a submarine strap (or in other words a 5-point harness).
3- All drivers must wear a Snell 95 rated or better helmet.
4- All cars must have a Fire Extinguisher (dry chemical only) on board mounted securely and within easy reach of the driver.
5- All cars with an electric fuel pump must have a ON - OFF switch in easy reach of the driver and yet easily reached by a track official or safety worker.
6- Window nets required.
