Arkansas Doubleheader Awaits CCSDS Contingent on July 22-23

GREENVILLE, Miss. (07/08/22) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil scheduled event for this Saturday, July 9 at Greenville (Miss.) Speedway has been canceled due to an unfavorable forecast.

“I spoke with the Kilgore family this morning, and with some weather models calling for as much as an 80% chance of rain for tomorrow evening, we want to save time and money for racers and fans, so we’ve made the decision to cancel the show,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan said. “We’re bummed to not be going to Greenville Speedway this week, but we’re looking forward to returning later this year for the Gumbo Nationals.”

The tour now turns its attention to a doubleheader on July 22-23. On Friday, July 22 the second annual Kenneth Mitchell Memorial posts a $5,555 top prize at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark., while the $5,000-to-win Triple Threat will be held at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) on Saturday, July 23

The CCSDS tire rule for the event is a Hoosier 1350 on all four corners with a Hoosier 1600 white-dot right rear option.
